I grabbed a pair of the DragonFly Sunglasses with melanin lenses- these are incredible. Quite honestly, there are few that can compare to these glasses. The fit is incredible- its snug but not tight, stays in place on the bridge of my nose- its like they were designed to fit my face. They have great coverage of sun protection from the side as well as from below where other glasses allow sunlight to peak through. The best part was the lenses- Wow- Normally, in a 10 hour day in the sun, i will have to take them off to adjust for changing conditions. For the dragonflys, i left them on as the view was better rather low light, high light, even a snowstorm and during rain. Beyond the mountaineering world, i also use them when i sail. They create the perfect level of contrast for seeing the marks that needed to be rounded for the races. I Love the floaty sides to keep them up when i am overboard, but not that they even really come up off my face. The attachments are slick also.

Awesome Sunglasses |

These are great sunglasses. The polarized lenses have perfect clarity - no distortion. They are light enough to wear in low light conditions, yet protective enough to keep your eyes safe in the most demanding conditions - on the water on a glassy day. The frame is solid and can take a beating, and also acts to shield your eyes from the sun. They are comfortable w/the rubber nose pads and the temple grips ensure no slipping. Yep, they float and they come with 2 types of leashes to meet your activity. Great for anything outside as well as driving as they block out so much glare. I love 'em. One shortcoming which is one inherent to the design itself is that when driving, it is hard to look into your blind spots to check for clear lanes as the frame is solid at the corner. I've adjusted and have to turn my head more. 5 stars.

Most versatile eyewear ever! |

The last sunglasses you'll ever need. I bought them for use while Standup Paddling (SUP), but now I use them for that as well as using them for running, riding my motorcycle, kayaking, driving, hiking, you name it.
The polarized lens help me see the reef under me and to spot honu, naia, hahalua, and watch out for mano :-)
The leashes ensure that my glasses stay with me, and when I forget my leash, the rubber means my glasses float long enough for me to find them and put them back on.
Buy these now! You won't regret it!

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST |

Aloha, Living in Hawaii with sensitive eyes, I have owned way too many sunglasses, searching for the best. Now I'll never buy another pair: My DragonFlies are what I want and what I need. They immerse me in a comfortable, safe and nearly magical world, whether I'm in my car, on the beach, or pursuing my passion of stand-up paddling. I might fall off my board, but they don't fall off me. I now see the underwater world of corals and fish in a whole new way, and my ability to spy Honus (Hawaiian sea turtles) beneath the water's surface is downright eerie. I can't help but be grateful, and Planet Sun's immense pride in its products and customer service makes me proud as well. Mahalo!
