I have rather temperamental skin, and had tried a plethora of sunscreens before using formulation 2. It was a relief to find one that works so well AND doesn't upset my skin.

Been using for the last month here in San Diego at the peak of summer. No burns, easy to apply, does not migrate and quite sweat resistant. Happy customer :)

It is the only sunscreen that I can trust when I go out into the ocean to "play" for 3-4 hours at a time. Be it paddling, open water swimming, snorkeling, or boating... I know that I am not going to come back fried like I have so many times before. I love that I don't have to worry about burning (being a fair skin blonde) and can stay in the water!

at the 2011 state time trial in kona, planet suns' big island rep bob fewell offered some formulation two sunscreen.
"just use a little, its really thick," said fewell.
the first thing I noticed about the formulation two sunscreen was that it smelled pleasant; unlike the chalky lotion smell of most sunscreens.
a little went a long way and I was surprised how comfortable the layer of sunscreen felt on skin.
working as bicycle messenger in honolulu I am continuously in sun. having given up on all sunscreen - everything I have ever tried feels like a layer of thick lotion on my skin.
the past week I have been wearing planet sun formulation two and its so breathable that I swear the sunscreen gives off a cooling effect.
yes, a cooling effect.
whereas most sunscreens feel warm in sun, the formulation two is the only sunscreen I know of that cools off skin when applied. thank you planet sun.

Maui Sun and Xterra Worlds |

Used this product at the Xterra World Championships in Sunny Maui. Coming from the water logged NW, this Pale guy can't say enough good things about this sunscreen.
After 3 hours of swimming/MTB and running, this sunscreen kept me from becoming a lobster. I can't say that about any other sunscreen.
Headed back to a tropical race and this is the first product that crossed my mind.
