My doctor has started to encourage the use of sun protection for my smackers since a small spot showed up after a nasty burn. So after the half marathon in Kona it was cool to find Planet Sun products, but it all came down to the lip balm. I have been trying lip balms for the last 20 years and each of them that claims to be good and provide protection from the sun are so pasty that I end up tossing it within a week. I don't want to eat the balm! Planet Sun's lip balm trumped the apparent idea that to receive protection from the sun you need to spread on a layer of goo that resembled something that comes from slugs. Instead, it is a pleasure to wear, just a natural pairing like chocolate and sundaes. The balm hydrates, lasts out on the water and keeps going through serious workouts in ghastly weather. And, the flavor is not overbearing. I would recommend trying this balm out; I am buying enough to have handy no matter where I am, and extras too. Protect your lips with Planet Sun.
